Fiberglass/Paint Technician – Full Time

MacDougalls’ Cape Cod Marine Service is looking to immediately hire a Fiberglass/Paint Technician. Candidate must be capable of performing glass work from minor repairs and gel coat touch ups to major structural repairs and modifications. Also, must have strong technical knowledge of laminating products, techniques, and procedures.

Working hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is possible during busy periods.

Hourly pay will be based on experience. Benefits are contingent upon completing the 90-day introductory period.

Required education: High school or equivalent/Marine Industry Certifications

Required experience: Fiberglass/Paint Technician: 2 years

 

Marine Electronics Technician – Full Time

MacDougalls’ Cape Cod Marine Service is looking to immediately hire a Marine Electronics Technician who must be ready for a change of pace and a chance to work with some of the top brands in the industry, performing cutting edge installs.

MacDougalls’ Cape Cod Marine Service is fully committed to provide technical manufacturers training and required certifications.

Working hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is possible during busy periods.

Hourly pay will be based on experience. Benefits are contingent upon completing the 90-day introductory period.

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience or equivalent mix of experience and education in recreational boat electronics and systems
  • Certifications in ABYC and or CMET are a plus but not required
  • Maintain an organized and clean working area

 

Canvas Technician – Full Time

MacDougalls’ Cape Cod Marine Service is looking to immediately hire a Canvas Technician.

Working hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is possible during busy periods.

Hourly pay will be based on experience. Benefits are contingent upon completing the 90-day introductory period.

Applicants must:

  • Assist the Lead Canvas Tech with marine canvas products (biminis, enclosures, covers and cushions)
  • Assist the pattern development process
  • Install marine hardware such as fasteners and frames
  • Maintain a clean working area

 

Marine Electrician – Full Time

MacDougalls’ Cape Cod Marine Service is looking to immediately hire a Marine Electrical Technician who must be proficient in diagnostic evaluation of all electrical systems aboard marine vessels. A/C & D/C, installation of new electrical systems, operation and troubleshooting onboard electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. ABYC, Refrigeration Certifications and own basic electrical tools preferred.
